About this event
Once again Golden Era Auto Racing (QLD) Club Inc. (GEAR club) have invited the MX5 Club to join them at Lakeside on Thursday 20 March
This is a non-competitive day with no track timing just an opportunity to experience some track time at your leisure. You will be on track with MX5s and perhaps a couple of Lotus 7 variants so it's a golden opportunity for those that want to wet their toe's & try a track event.
These are ideal novice days as they are very casual or those wanting to test their cars heading into the 2025 comp year. You will enjoy the camaraderie of fellow MX5 club members, enjoy the sight of some ye olde race cars and chat with their owners, with the added bonus of experiencing the track at your pace.
As invited guests there are a few conditions:

You must be a financial member of the MX5 Club

You must agree to and abide by the GEAR rules for the event
- Registration can be either through the Club calendar

You will need a long sleeve top, long trousers plus closed shoes and a helmet (NOTE: open face helmets can only be worn with the roof up) We have a supply of helmets and optional gloves if you don't have them
